TEAM Supports the AFS Wisconsin 88th Annual Regional Foundry Conference
TEAM was proud to once again coordinate and support the AFS Wisconsin 88th Annual Regional Foundry Conference & Expo, held February 3-5, 2026 at the Brookfield Conference Center. As the team behind the scenes and at the registration desk, we were busy supporting attendees, exhibitors, and organizers throughout the event.
AFS WI Regional Foundry Conference Highlights
This year’s Regional Foundry Conference brought together 80+ exhibitors, giving attendees direct access to suppliers, manufacturers, and technology leaders showcasing practical solutions to improve foundry operations. Expert-led technical education sessions delivered real-world insights attendees could take straight back to their plants.
The conference also featured high-impact keynote and kickoff speakers. Kurt Bauer, President & CEO of WMC, presented the Wisconsin Competitive Report during the dinner banque. This presentation gave attendees a clear view of where Wisconsin ranks on key economic and business climate metrics. Angela Schmeisser, Managing Director of St. Marys Foundry and AFS National Past President, kicked off the event. She gave a presentation on Addressing the Top 2026 Priorities for AFS and shared how the organization selected its next CEO, Justin Scott.
The 12th Annual Invitational Casting Competition showcased the talent of tomorrow’s metalcasters. Students from University of Wisconsin – Madison, Wentworth University, University of Wisconsin – Stout, University of Wisconsin – Platteville, and Mauston High School participated. Seeing these young professionals bring their ideas to life was an inspiring highlight and a reminder of the importance of supporting future industry talent.
